As the Founder of Agri Link Food Processing Pvt Ltd, Lt Col Ashit Mahapatra aims to create a positive impact in the agro sector, resulting in the improvement of the livelihood of farmers, reduction of loss of perishable agro commodities and offer healthy and nutritious food options to the consumers.

Ashit has served for 20 years in the Indian Army and after hanging up his olive greens, he became the founding CEO of Khetriya Gramin Financial Services (KGFS), which is a green field rural finance arm, seed-funded by ICICI Bank. Ashit successfully rolled out 30 rural branches of KGFS in Tamil Nadu and Odisha which were fully online and were virtually paperless. He is the co-founder of Milk Mantra Dairy Pvt Ltd in Odisha and has set up the complete sourcing network, plant and the logistics of the entity. Ashit has a M.Tech in Automobile Engineering from Pune University and is an alumni of IIM, Ahmedabad. Trained in the Indian Army on modern weapon Systems, he was involved in the operation and maintenance of radars and missiles. An avid cyclist, he has cycled rough terrains in many parts of the country and does a little bit of golfing now in his spare time.
